During the concert the band gave the 30 October the Grand Prix 1 Abu Dhabi, Jay Kay has released an’interview website gulfnews.com he speaks of Jamiroquai and how their music has changed over the years.
It reads:
Think that our music has definitely evolved into a fairly natural. It will always be strongly linked to my voice and great groove, but people who say that has not evolved, obviously, have ears. In the past he had more soul soul / groove, before moving toward a sound disc with more programming, and finally the development of a stronger rock, come in Deeper Underground e Feels Just Like It Should. Next album, output next year, will be different again.
And the journalist who asked him to define in a few words said Jamiroquai:
Hard funking good time music! Because that is what we do…

Dotfunk
The 24 January 2010 Jazz Cafe London will host the first concert of Dotfunk, a band composed of musicians of Incognito, the Brand New Heavies and Paul Turner, Rob Harris and Derrick McKenzie dei Jamiroquai.
Fun is assured thanks to the distinguished names of the line up:
- Dan Pearce – vocals & percussion.
- Michelle John – vocals.
- Rob Harris – guitar.
- Paul Turner – bass.
- Derrick McKenzie – drums.
- Matt Cooper – keys.
- Dan Carpenter – trumpet.
- Richard Beesley – tenor sax.
- Simon Wilescroft – alto sax.
- Dave Williamson – trombone.

The official site of Jamiroquai has launched a competition to win two tickets for the concert the band held in Abu Dhabi on 30 October at the last Grand Prix Formula 1.
To participate in the competition must enter their name on the appropriate registration form by Monday 26 October.
For obvious reasons, are invited to participate only if they actually possibility to attend the concert: premium does not cover travel, nor accommodation.

The Black Eyed Peas
The The Black Eyed Peas, famous American band, have beaten in recent days the record for the concert with the highest share of history hitherto held by Jamiroquai.
The BEP have in fact performed on a Virgin Blue flight from Melbourne to Perth in almost 13.000 meters high, beating the previous record 10,668 meters set by Jamiroquai in 2007.
The exhibition of BEP was it in a “karaoke”, or training has sung on a pre-recorded, while during their Jamiroquai “Gig in the Sky” played 6 whole piece live.
The artist has created a Core Jude portrait of Jay Kay, entitled “Return of The Space Cowboy”, will be auctioned to raise money for the NSPCC, National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
Among the other characters are portrayed by the artist Bill Gates, Steve Buscemi, Denzel Washington, Yoko Ono, Jimi Hendrix, Walter Matthau e JK Rowling.
